Introduction

The contest on Kitchen Scene Context based Gesture Recognition aims to recognize cooking motions. Not only motion information of an actor but also a situation surrounding the actor have to be considered to acquire better results. Several cooking videos with ground truth are provided to the contestants for the training and testing of their system. The task is to assign a cooking motion label (i.e. what does the actor doing in the kitchen?) into each video frame. The dataset contains the color image sequence and the depth image sequence captured by the Kinect sensor.

Award

The contestant who produces good performance will get an award. The awards are sponsored by SIG-CEA of HCG, IEICE, Japan.
